I have had my items in storage since 2010 and moved out of state. Now that we are back home, I still have my unit and go in and out regularly. Nothing has ever gone missing and they have cameras covering the units. Any time I've had questions or needed help, they have answered. Sometimes my only trips back to NC were on holidays and the gates were still open and I had access to my unit. I love the personal attention they give each client.
Certainly not worth 1 star. When I went to leave- everything in my unit was ruined from water damage. And I had noticed one of my tvs was missing then when my husband came home from deployment a few months after he realized two of his guitars were missing so I called and asked if they had cameras she said yes and magically they don't have them at the one unit I was in. Then told me they weren't responsible because it's been months. Which is understandable but how would it go missing when in her words it's impossible to break in to the units. And the only other person with a key to my unit was infact the owners of the storage units.... Crazy how the only things of value were the only things taken.
Upon removing my personal belongings and terminating my contract I found over 100 spiders throughout my stuff. I had no food or any items that would attract pests and the contract clearly stated that there would be pest control. I called the owner who reacted rudely and completely unprofessional. No partial refund or any actions were taken on his behalf. I suggest any storage unit facility before this one. Take my review to heart and save yourself the hassel.
